The story follows an employee of a construction company who, believing he has lost the coveted promotion and that he has been betrayed, steals a suitcase containing one million euros of black money from his boss as revenge. When he learns that he actually got the position, he must return the money within one night without arousing suspicion.
In his attempt, he seeks the help of a locksmith of questionable ethics (Christian Clavier), leading to unexpected and comedic developments.
